Haven't done any sewing today as I had to take my brother back to the airport. He got the times wrong so we had time for lunch in a lovely pub (I couldn't drink as I was driving ) shame! anyway this is something I made last week and was looking for a frame for it, found one today and it will be in my shop soon: Is now in my shop.

I ordered Lillian and Nicky sent this lovely heart as well. Made my day, it did. We are going to call her Lily. She likes sitting on these spotty suitcases.

My computer died on me earlier, don't know what is going on with it this week, it's trying to test my patience. I think it needs to go to the doctors to get looked at, anyway it is behaving at the moment. Monkee is still in my bad books, will try to sew him in the next couple of days. Thanks for the comments on stuffing him.
Today has been one of those days where I wish it had gone better. My internet connection decided to go awol so I spent 53 minutes on the phone trying to get it fixed. I am sure those guys go all round the houses just to make money on a 0845 number. So that fixed popped out to see a friend in need and when I came back a parcel had tried to be delivered but needed a signature, I know those guys wait round the corner until you go out before they deliver. Then tonight the grill on the cooker wouldn't work, don't know why but hayho tomorrow can only be better right? did manage to eventually get some stuff in my Etsy shop but can't figure out how to add the etsy logo to my blog.. if anty one with a typepad account can help me I would be so grateful, as I am such a nitwit with the computer. This is a boring, moany blog today. Pictures,, I need pictures.
This is a bag I've put on etsy, I made it at uni. It is made of silk and wool blanket and is layered and slahed with a button design. My Etsy shop is designsbydotty if you want to take a look. More will be going in soon. well would have been today if all the disasters hadn't happened. Monkees still not stuffed and new bunny not started and not enough hours in the day, oh and too much time looking at lovely blogs. Also put Clara Camel on etsy.
I spent lots of the afternoon sewing the monkee, but he looks ugly, his mouth is small, I can't get his face right and when I showed the boys they laughed and said he was ugly(nasty boys) but they are right. He has UGLY genes, must be the parentage.I can only show you a before picture.
What am I to do?
I think my computer is feeling like me today, on a go slow. It is taking ages to do anything. Well although I wasn't going to show any photos of Bobby Bunny just yet, I have changed my mind, as I am going to make a different bunny for Lucy's easter swap. So here he is:
I give up with the computer and will try again later. I have a monkee in the throws of completion. I can't knit but my lovely mum can so I persuaded her to knit a monkee but she doesn't like sewing them up, so I have that lovely task. If I feel a bit better I may show you him later. I am losing the will to live with this computer, it is soooooo sloooow today.Hopefully back later.
I have a horrible cold, my lips are sore 'cos I can't breathe through my nose and have to breathe through my mouth and therefore I have sore lips, No sewing done today. Yesterday I sewed a bunny wabbit but it was kidnapped by my youngest and he isn't giving it back. In fact it is tucked up beside him in bed. He has named him Bobby Bunny, so I now have to make another for the bunny swap. i can't show any pictures cos that would spoil it so Here's something I made a while ago. It is in an exhibition at the moment.
I love spots, spotty wallpaper and a spotty skirt! I feel dotty right now with my cold, I'm going to bed goodnight.
Oh dear, my children have given me their germs. I am now ill, sore throat and temperature. I got a new book today, through the post, pictures are not good as I took them in not good light.
But nice patterns.

I can't really show you this but peek at a bit of it, it's a pile of bunny limbs. I'm hoping it will become a bunny but have to wait and see.
I was hoping to put some work in an etsy shop but children on half term and my brother and niece here have not made that happen, I am hoping to get some work done soon, have to get a few dvd's out for the children to watch, so I can sew.
Oh look what the postie brought me today, all the way over the big pond....Goodies..lucky me. It is my Valentine swap from Cheryl at polkadots and rickrack. This is what I found:

hooray I have been trying for ages to put a customised header on my blog, I made it, as in sewed it, but as I am so rubbish at working out what to do on the computer, I couldn't work out how to upload it. Anyway tonight while I was going to watch Larkrise to Candleford I worked out how to do it. I am sooo pleased, I wouldn't be able to do it again but at least it's on my blog now. So no pictures except look at my header!!
Oh dear, 2 sick children now, not getting much done, as I am wiping brows, dishing out medicine and holding bowls!!! ugh did manage to sew something but no piccies today. I am quite excited at what I did sew, I was hoping to get some gooodies into/onto whatever it is, etsy this week, but I guess it will have to wait.
I had good intentions of doing loads of sewing today but instead I find myself looking after a sick child. Well that involves watching lots of dvds!! Nanny Mcfee, ooh I love the decor in their house. I was meant to send my valentine swap off today as we have decided between us to send it today as we are sending abroad. Can't show any pictures yet. Except the wrapped up parcel ready to send.
Maybe I will get to sew tomorrow. I am too distracted today, playing nurse.

Oh dear I have been absent without leave! Well not exactly, it's just I haven't been posting any blogs, as I've been trying to work on the bag I mentioned. well other things got in the way of sewing but today I started and made this.
This does not look good in the photo, maybe it will look better when it's finished. It has lots of lovely fabrics, Designers guild, Buttonberry, Kaffe Fassett and some other unknowns. I hope to finish soon but other stuff always gets in the way. I bought this fab fabric from ebay, I just love it but I think it might be one of those fabrics I just don't want to cut.
It has such cute campervans on it. I soo want a vw campervan, If anyone out there wants to give me a campervan I would be so happy but for now I will make do with my gorgeous fabric. I think i must be having a pink thing going on. Must be having boys, have to make do with girly fabric instead.
